WHEN SHOULD YOU AND YOUR GUESTS ARRIVE?
Ideally, everyone will arrive at the scheduled time for your wedding. For instance you have a Precious Memories Wedding set for 3:00 PM. By arriving at the agreed time, the bride has ten to fifteen minutes to change into her wedding attire and the guests have the same amount of time to be seated and settle in. The Precious Memories package allots one half an hour for the Bride and Groom to receive their guests for the Bridal Champagne toast and Cake Cutting.

Early arrivals may not be accommodated due to a wedding already in progress. Please keep in mind that New Orleans is subject to very hot and humid as well as inclement weather. Waiting outdoors upon arriving early may be very ucomfortable.

HOW WILL WE KNOW WHAT TO DO?
The Bride and Groom are briefed just prior to the start of the wedding ceremony. This ensures all will be fresh in their minds as the Bride walks down the aisle.

HOW LONG DOES THE WEDDING CEREMONY TAKE?
Weddings no matter how elaborate, rarely take more than fifteen minutes to perform. The only exception would be if there is a very long reading or special songs being performed. In that case, you should allow extra time.

WHY SHOULD I NEED EXTRA TIME?
There are many reasons why one hour just is not enough. One example would be photography. You may want some additional photos taken of various group, family or maybe some with an outdoor setting as a background. The best reason, however, is to relax and enjoy the company of your guests.

IS IT PROPER TO TIP THE MINISTER AND HOW MUCH?
A tip does show your appreciation as well as lets the minister know the ceremony was as you expected.

DO WE NEED TO WEAR FORMAL CLOTHES?
The style and type of clothing you choose is strictly up to you. As you have probably seen in our "Picture Gallery," we have had very formal weddings, very casual weddings and weddings in unique costumes as well. After all, this is New Orleans.

WILL I BE ABLE TO CHANGE INTO MY WEDDING ATTIRE WITHOUT SEEING THE GROOM?
Yes. The Bridal Dressing Room is on the second floor and the groom is in a separate area on the first floor.

ARE WITNESSES REQUIRED?
Yes. It is required that two witnesses be in attendance for your wedding.. They must be at least 18 years of age to sign the Marriage License and other Marriage Certificates, if any. We will furnish witnesses for our "Platinum Celebration Wedding" or the "Precious Memories Wedding" if necessary at no charge.

WHO SHOULD I CONTACT?
Call the office and one of our wedding coordinators will answer any/all questions.
